Russia to achieve all special military operation goals set by president — Kremlin official
Sergey Kiriyenko said it’s now necessary not only to protect Russia’s economic interests, but also to take advantage of the departure of foreign companies from the Russian Federation for the development of domestic companies
MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. Russia will achieve all the goals that Russian President Vladimir Putin set for the special military operation in Ukraine, First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko said on Tuesday.
"Of course, we will accomplish all the objectives on the battlefield, all the tasks set by the president will be implemented, but given unprecedented economic pressure, we need not just to survive, we need not just wait it out, we need to use this time for large-scale development," he said, speaking at the Municipal Dialogue marathon organized by the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government.
Kiriyenko said it’s now necessary not only to protect Russia’s economic interests, but also to take advantage of the departure of foreign companies from the Russian Federation for the development of domestic companies.
"The tasks that are set today by the president as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the Defense Ministry for the military-industrial complex represent a unique opportunity for the development of enterprises, for high-tech breakthroughs in domestic science. We must use this time for development without stopping for a second," he continued.
