WARSAW, January 31. /TASS/. The potential handover of Polish Air Force F-16 planes to Ukraine is not being discussed at any official level, Polish Deputy Defense Minister Wojciech Skurkiewicz told AFP Tuesday.
"At this point, there is no official discussion of handover of Polish F-16s," he said, adding that "this issue does not exist."
Currently, Polish Air Force has 48 F-16 planes. On Monday, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that a potential handover of F-16 planes to Ukraine may happen only after negotiation of this step with NATO and in complete coordination with the allies.
Previously, US President Joe Biden said that Washington has no intention to send F-16 planes to Ukraine.
