NATO to operate weapons slated for Kiev over lack of time to train Ukraine troops — LPR
On January 19, the White House released a memorandum signed by US President Joe Biden on the allocation of another $2.5 billion military aid package for Ukraine
MOSCOW, January 20. /TASS/. NATO specialists will most likely operate complex equipment supplied to the Kiev regime due to the lack of time to train Ukrainian personnel, Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) retired Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko said on Friday.
"Ukraine has no time to train its fighters. They are now sending certain personnel abroad for training but this number of servicemen is not enough and, therefore, mixed deliveries will most likely follow: there will be NATO specialists where there is complex equipment, yet the hardware that is more or less easy to handle will be placed under the Ukrainians’ operation," the LPR officer said in a live broadcast on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio.
On January 19, the White House released a memorandum signed by US President Joe Biden on the allocation of another $2.5 billion military aid package for Ukraine.
For its part, the Pentagon reported that the aid package will include 59 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs) with 590 TOW anti-tank missiles and 295,000 rounds of 25mm ammunition.
Moreover, the United States will provide the Zelensky regime with 90 Stryker Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) with 20 mine rollers, eight Avenger air defense systems, additional munitions for National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS) and High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), as well as High-speed Anti-radiation missiles (HARMs).
