MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. Some 3,000 instructors are training mobilized Russian troops on more than 100 grounds in Russia and Belarus, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu reported on Wednesday.
"About 3,000 instructors are training new troops on more than 100 grounds in this country and in the Republic of Belarus. Over the past two months, more than 300,000 reservists, including volunteers, have been trained," Shoigu told a Defense Ministry board meeting.
According to him, about 8,000 members of combat vehicle and tank crews, artillery and missile defense crews as well as UAV and electronic warfare teams have been trained at training centers.
"Service members have acquired the knowledge and skills to accomplish combat and special tasks both on their own and as part of detachments," the Russian defense chief added.
