Allied forces about to entrap Ukrainian troops in Artyomovsk — DPR head

According to Denis Pushilin, the Aidar Ukrainian nationalist battalion (outlawed in Russia) is attempting to stage a counterattack in this direction, but is failing

MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. Allied forces are close to encircling Ukrainian troops in Artyomovsk, known as Bakhmut in Ukraine, acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said on Monday.

"Our forces are moving forward. There are successes in the direct vicinity of Artyomovsk. <…> It is possible to say that the situation is nearing entrapment," he said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.

According to Pushilin, the Aidar Ukrainian nationalist battalion (outlawed in Russia) is attempting to stage a counterattack in this direction, but is failing. "The enemy sustained big losses and Aidar is trying not to show up on the frontline," he said.
