SEVASTOPOL, November 27. /TASS/. The high (yellow) terrorist threat level has been extended in Sevastopol has been extended till December 12, the city’s government said on Sunday.

The high terrorist threat level was declared in Sevastopol on July 31 after a drone attack on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in the center of the city.

"Based on reports from law enforcement agencies about the continuing threat of terror attacks <…> the chairman of Sevastopol’s anti-terrorist commission and Sevastopol governor has ruled to extend the high (yellow) terrorist threat level from 18:00 on November 27, 2022 for a term of 15 days, till 18:00 on December 12, 2022," the government wrote on its website.

The city’s governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said earlier that it was a "solely preventive" measure, since the situation is under control.

Sevastopol is a home base of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. Several drone attacks at the Black Sea Fleet headquarters have been staged.
