MOSCOW, October 24. /TASS/. The new electric torpedo ET-1E is capable of making certain decisions when performing missions, including bypassing of jamming, Acting CEO of Dagdizel plant Sultanakhmed Asaliev told TASS.
"This is a digital torpedo [ET-1E]. It is solving many tasks not set by a ship on their own. A vessel sets parameters in other torpedoes, and they perform. In this case, the torpedo makes decision on their own as regards many parameters. Firstly, this is bypassing of jamming. The problem of hitting a stationary target and a surfacing target was resolved," the top manager said.
