Russian forces wipe out six command posts in Ukraine operation, top brass reports

Russia’s strikes also wiped out two ammunition and missile/artillery armament depots of the Ukrainian army’s 56th mechanized brigade in the area of the city of Zaporozhye

MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. Russian combat aircraft, missile and artillery troops destroyed six Ukrainian army command posts in the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Friday.

"The strikes delivered by operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft, missile and artillery troops destroyed six Ukrainian army command posts, 53 artillery units at firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 162 areas," the spokesman said.

Russia’s strikes also wiped out two ammunition and missile/artillery armament depots of the Ukrainian army’s 56th mechanized brigade in the area of the city of Zaporozhye, the general added.
