It was noted that the intensity of shelling of Energodar has recently increased several times. "Regarding Energodar: in one day we were shelled over 40 times, in the next day over 20 times

MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces are intensely shelling the coastline near the town of Energodar, thus preparing a bridgehead for landing troops, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the ‘We are together with Russia’ movement, said on Friday during a Soloviev Live TV broadcast.

"Ukrainian troops are intensely shelling the coastline near Energodar and its suburbs, which once again shows that they are preparing to land troops. They are shelling specific areas, because it will be necessary to land on the coastal zone. It is clear that if they took this land, they would be able to defend the troops in case of the landing," Rogov said.

The official also noted that the intensity of shelling of Energodar has recently increased several times. "Regarding Energodar: in one day we were shelled over 40 times, in the next day over 20 times. The intensity of shelling of Energodar has increased many times," he added.

The city of Energodar, which is home to Europe's largest Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, is under the Russian troops’ control. The territory of the plant, as well as the city itself, have been repeatedly shelled by the Ukrainian armed forces, including with the use of heavy artillery and drones.
