DONETSK, October 5. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military suffered about 40 casualties in battles with forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the past day, DPR People’s Militia Spokesman Eduard Basurin reported on Wednesday.

"The enemy’s manpower losses amounted to 40 personnel," the press office of the DPR people’s militia quoted the spokesman as saying on its Telegram channel.

In the past 24 hours, the DPR militia forces and Russian troops destroyed a Ukrainian Uragan multiple rocket launcher, two firing positions of mortar squads, three armored vehicles and two drones, Basurin said.
