Russian mine disposal specialists cleared of mines an area of around 120 hectares in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) during the past day, Mikhail Mizintsev, the headquarters head and chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on Monday.

According to Mizintsev, who heads the Russian Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine, Russian specialists continue mine clearance operations in the DPR and LPR. "A total of 2,581.94 hectares, including 119.2 hectares during the past day), 35 buildings, including 13 socially important facilities, one bridge and 9.64 kilometers of motorways have been surveyed. As many as 12,685 explosive objects have been spotted and destroyed, including 131 during the past day," he said.
