Rosoboronexport's portfolio of orders for helicopters totals $3 bln, says CEO
Helicopters are supposed to be delivered to 24 countries by 2025, the company’s CEO Alexander Mikheyev revealed
MOSCOW, May 20. /TASS/. The portfolio of orders of Russia’s state arms seller Rosoboronexport (part of the state tech corporation Rostec) includes more than 200 helicopters worth over $3 billion, while negotiations are underway for the supply of another 120 aircraft, the company’s CEO Alexander Mikheyev told reporters at the HeliRussia-2022 exhibition.
"Rosoboronexport's portfolio of orders includes over 200 helicopters of various modifications worth more than $3 billion," he said.
According to him, helicopters are supposed to be delivered to 24 countries by 2025 under "firm" contracts.
"Currently, negotiations are underway for the supply of more than 120 helicopters for a total amount of more than $4 billion," he added.
This year the company plans to deliver helicopters worth more than $1 billion to foreign customers, Mikheev said.
