The operational-tactical and army aviation of Russia hit 32 areas of concentration of forces and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

MOSCOW, May 15. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems destroyed 15 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine overnight, intercepted a Tochka-U tactical missile and 11 Smerch projectiles, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov announced on Sunday.

At the same time, rocket troops and artillery of the Russian Ground Forces hit around 140 objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "The missile forces and artillery hit six command posts, 123 areas of concentration of forces and military equipment, 13 artillery batteries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in firing positions," Konashenkov said.

Meanwhile, Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 879 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 3,098 tanks and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as 381 multiple launch rocket systems. "In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 165 aircraft, 125 helicopters, 879 unmanned aerial vehicles, 306 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,098 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 381 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,525 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 2,934 special military vehicles," Konashenkov announced.
