Russian aircraft strike five command points of Ukrainian forces in DPR, says top brass

MOSCOW, May 14. /TASS/. Russian combat aircraft struck five command points and two ammunition stores of the Ukrainian military forces in the settlements of Spornoye and Berestovoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), with up to 100 nationalists eliminated and 23 sets of armaments put out of commission as a result of strikes, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said Saturday.
"Five command points and two ammunition stores in the settlements of Spornoye and Berestovoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic were hit by precise air-launched missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces," he said.
As a result of strikes up to 100 nationalists were eliminated and 23 sets of armaments were put out of commission, according to Konashenkov.
Overall, since the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, the following targets have been destroyed: 165 combat aircraft, 125 helicopters, 858 unmanned aerial vehicles, 304 surface-to-air missile systems, 3,051 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 372 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,507 field artillery guns and mortars and 2,898 special military motor vehicles, the general specified.
