Russia says nationalists profiteer from fuel shortages in Kharkov Region
Mikhail Mizintsev said that "official Kiev is trying not to notice these crimes, which have already become commonplace"
MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. Mikhail Mizintsev, head of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, on Friday said Ukrainian nationalists profiteer from the fuel crisis by selling fuel coupons intended for ambulances and other emergency services of the Kharkov Region.
"Fighters of nationalist battalions, confident in their impunity, cynically sell misappropriated fuel coupons intended for ambulances and other emergency services in the Kharkov Region amid an intensifying fuel crisis," he said. "Such behavior of nationalists has long been the norm for Ukraine."
Mizintsev said that "official Kiev is trying not to notice these crimes, which have already become commonplace."
He said that inaction by Ukrainian officials "is taken by the militants as a tacit approval of the lawlessness they are doing."
"These and other similar facts grossly violating the norms of international humanitarian law are still ignored by the world community and international organizations, despite our repeated statements," Mizintsev said.
