MOSCOW, May 5. /TASS/. The crews of Ka-52 attack helicopters delivered missile strikes to destroy a Ukrainian command center and several armored vehicles, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.
"Army aviation pilots delivered missile strikes on a command center and a stronghold of the Ukrainian army. In their sortie, they wiped out a Ukrainian nationalists’ command center and several pieces of armor at the stronghold of Ukraine’s military," the ministry said.
The Russian Defense Ministry posted a clip showing the operation of combat helicopters at night.
Russian army aviation is assigned with escorting convoys, destroying armor, delivering an assault force and military cargoes and providing close air support to ground forces in Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
