Russian Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier to go for repairs in May - sources
The other source confirmed this information
MOSCOW, May 5. /TASS/. Russia’s Admiral Kuznetsov heavy aircraft carrier will go for repairs within May, two sources in Russia’s defense sector told TASS on Thursday.
"The aircraft carrier is expected to enter a dockage facility within May," said one of the sources. The other source confirmed this information.
TASS reported on March 31 citing sources that the 35th plant, a branch of the shipbuilding repair center Zvyozdochka (an affiliate of the United Shipbuilding Corporation), was ready to receive the ship. It was expected that repairs would take up to six weeks.
A source told TASS earlier that The Admiral Kuznetsov would stay at the dock until September. Another source confirmed this information, adding that the aircraft carrier would be set afloat again in September.
