Russian forces eliminate Ukrainian S-300 system, up to 80 troops overnight — top brass
The Russian forces also shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle by an air-to-air precision missile
MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. Russian forces delivered strikes by precision weapons on three Ukrainian military sites overnight, eliminating an S-300 missile system near Novosyolka and up to 80 nationalists near Aleksandrovka, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Friday.
"Throughout the night, air-launched precision missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces struck three Ukrainian military sites. A Ukrainian S-300 surface-to-air missile system was wiped out near the community of Novosyolka," the spokesman said.
In the area of Aleksandrovka, the Russian forces eliminated a command post and an area of the amassment of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment, he stressed.
"Up to 80 nationalists and also 23 pieces of the armor and vehicles were eliminated," the spokesman specified.
The Russian forces also shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle by an air-to-air precision missile, the general said.
