GROZNY, April 20. /TASS/. Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov has said the fighters of the Akhmat special unit acting in cooperation with the troops of the Lugansk People’s Republic have seized control of the Kamennaya and Staraya Krasnyanka settlements during the special operation.

"The soldiers of the Akhmat special forces, together with the LPR servicemen, seized the settlements of Kamennaya and Staraya Krasnyanka," Kadyrov said on Telegram. The operation was carried out without casualties among the personnel, he said.

Kadyrov said that in the near future the fighters will have to clear the settlements from mines and organize humanitarian aid for the local population.
