Russian Defense Ministry publishes new data on Ukrainian National Guard losses

It is reported that the data was obtained from actual Ukrainian documents

MOSCOW, April 20. /TASS/. The Russian Defense Ministry published new data in its Telegram channels on the losses of the Ukrainian National Guard during the Russian special military operation.

"Today we disclose information about significant losses among servicemen of the 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade of Ukraine’s National Guard (military unit 3018) as of March 29, 2022," the message said.

According to the ministry, the data was obtained from actual Ukrainian documents.

On Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry began publishing lists with the personal data of deceased Ukrainian servicemen with dates of birth, ranks, the circumstances and sites where they suffered lethal wounds.

The Defense Ministry also said it had data on a large number of defected Ukrainian soldiers, those wounded and missing and information about the actual losses of the Ukrainian army, the National Guard and foreign mercenaries who arrived.

Earlier, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said that the irrecoverable losses of the Ukrainian army and mercenaries were estimated at 23,367.
