MOSCOW, April 19. /TASS/. Russia’s armed forces call on Ukrainian troops still staying at Azovstal to surrender, Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on Tuesday.
"This statement is immediately conveyed to the Ukrainian side via Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk through operational communications channels," said Mizintsev, who also heads the Russian Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.
According to Mizintsev, this statement will be non-stop conveyed to Ukrainian units at Azovstal via radio channels every 30 minutes starting from 00:00 Moscow time on April 20.
He said that this statement is to be immediately made public and conveyed to the United Nations, OSCE, the International Committee of the Red Cross and other international organizations, diplomatic missions through all communications channels and media resources.
