Russian combat aircraft delivered strikes on 60 Ukrainian military sites and wiped out two depots of Tochka-U missile warheads and three command posts

MOSCOW, April 19. /TASS/. Russian troops have eliminated 140 Ukrainian combat aircraft, 487 unmanned aerial vehicles and 2,353 tanks and other armored vehicles since the beginning of their special military operation in Ukraine, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday.

"Overall, the following targets have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation: 140 aircraft, 487 unmanned aerial vehicles, 252 surface-to-air missile systems, 2,353 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 256 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,014 field artillery guns and mortars and 2,208 special military motor vehicles," the spokesman said.

Russian combat aircraft delivered strikes on 60 Ukrainian military sites and wiped out two depots of Tochka-U missile warheads and three command posts, Konashenkov said.

"Operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces delivered strikes on 60 Ukrainian military targets. Two depots of Tochka-U tactical missile warheads were wiped out near the communities of Chervonaya Polyana and Balakleya," the spokesman specified.

The Russian combat aircraft also hit three Ukrainian command posts and 53 areas of the amassment of enemy manpower and military hardware, the general said.

The Russian troops suppressed 13 Ukrainian army strongholds and places of the amassment of manpower and military hardware by air-launched precision missiles, Konashenkov said.

"Throughout the night, air-launched precision missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces suppressed 13 Ukrainian army strongholds and the places of the amassment of enemy manpower and military hardware near the communities of Slavyansk, Barvenkovo and Popasnaya," the spokesman said.

The Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter and intercepted two Tochka-U missies in Donbass, Konashenkov said.

"Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter near the community of Malinovka in the Donetsk Region. Two Ukrainian Tochka-U tactical missiles were intercepted near the communities of Petropolye and Malaya Kamyshevakha," the spokesman said.

The Russian forces also eliminated four Ukrainian drones near the communities of Maryinka, Kamenka, Semyonovka and Sinichino, the general said.

The Russian missile and artillery troops delivered strikes against 1,260 Ukrainian military sites overnight, Konashenkov said.

"The missile and artillery troops delivered strikes on 1,260 military facilities," the spokesman said.

The Russian forces wiped out 25 Ukrainian army command posts near the populated areas of Nikolayev and Kirovsk, two missile and artillery arms depots near the communities of Voskresensky and Nikolayev, two Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile launchers near Gulyaipole and Nikolayevka Vtoraya and also 1,214 places of the amassment of enemy manpower, the spokesman said.
