MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said Russian forces on Tuesday destroyed 33 Ukrainian military targets including eight command posts and three warehouses.

"Operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Missile Forces hit 33 military targets in Ukraine during the day," he said. "They included eight command posts, three equipment depots and 21 strongholds and clusters of military equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces."

Russian air defenses, he said, shot down five Ukrainian strike drones during the day.
