MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. During Moscow’s special operation in Ukraine, units of the Russian Armed Forces took full control of the settlement of Zolotaya Niva, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said on Thursday.
"In carrying out its offensive, units of the Russian Armed Forces have taken full control of the settlement of Zolotaya Niva, crossed the Kashlagach river and gained a foothold on the commanding position. The advance has been six kilometers in the past day," Konashenkov maintained.
According to the top brass, up to 60 Ukrainian nationalists, two tanks, four infantry fighting vehicles, and nine various-purpose vehicles have been destroyed.
Having purged the area of militants in the settlement of Zhitlovka, the units of the Lugansk People’s Republic advanced five kilometers and are battling nationalists on the outskirts of the village of Kremennaya.
