MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Russia’s military jet has downed a Su-24 jet of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during an air fight in the Rovno region close to the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Wednesday.

"Near the Tyumen settlement of the Rovno region close to the Ukrainian-Belarusian border a Su-24 jet of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been downed during an air fight," he said.

Russia’s air defense facilities destroyed ten Ukrainian drones in the settlements of Izyum, Novaya Kakhovka, Donetsk, Nikolayev, Berdyansk, Gorlovka, Lugansk and Rubezhnoye in 24 hours, according to Konashenkov.
