Ukraine must send note to ICRC about agreement to secure humanitarian corridors - Moscow

According to Russian National Defense Control Center head Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, a Ukrainian neo-Nazi has declared an open season on Russian journalists, providing honest coverage of humanitarian situation

MOSCOW, March 10. /TASS/. Ukraine must send a note to the International Red Cross Committee regarding its agreement to secure humanitarian corridors, Russian National Defense Control Center head Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev said Thursday.

"We offer the Ukrainian side: to publish before 03:00 Moscow time March 11, 2022 this emergency statement in Russian and Ukrainian languages in Ukrainian mass media; inform before 03:00 Moscow time March 11, 2022 embassies of foreign states, UN, OSCE, International Red Cross Committee structures and other international organizations on Ukrainian territory about the planned humanitarian operation via set procedures through all available information resources, including Ukrainian mass media; send before 04:00 Moscow time March 11, 2022 a note to the International Red Cross Committee regarding its agreement to ensure security of humanitarian corridors mentioned in point 1 of this emergency statement," he said.

"Regretfully, today’s operation to open humanitarian corridors produced no serious positive result in all other directions exclusively through Kiev’s fault," Mizintsev noted.

The Russian defense official stressed that the Russian armed forces closely cooperate with the Ukrainian side in order to carry out humanitarian operations in three other areas.

According to him, a Ukrainian neo-Nazi has declared an open season on Russian journalists, providing honest coverage of humanitarian situation in the area of the special military operation in Ukraine.

"I’m convinced that the time will come for us soon to show living witnesses of this tragedy to the whole world. Everything has been documented. Moreover, a Ukrainian neo-Nazi, whose second name is Bereza, has declared an open season on Russian correspondents, providing honest coverage of the humanitarian situation in the zone of the special military operation," he said.
