New generation rocket projectiles to be developed in Tula
The project will make possible to master new technologies of rocket projectiles production, which will influence on MLRS development
TULA, January 24. /TASS/. TulaTech and Splav companies will develop new generation projectiles for multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) within the framework of a joint project, press service of Splav told TASS.
"The project is aimed at developing the outline of the rocket projectiles to world-class MLRS of the new generation and conducting theoretical computation and pilot research on selection, justification and confirmation of technical and process solutions," the press service says.
The project will make possible to master new technologies of rocket projectiles production, which will influence on MLRS development. "Innovative technologies of MLRS preparation and firing will be developed during implementation of the project, with higher IT support of control and reconnaissance systems," TulaTech says.
