Two Tu-22M3 bombers conduct patrol mission over Black Sea international waters

The Defense Ministry noted that the planes covered about 4,500 kilometers in more than five hours in the air
MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Two Tupolev Tu-22M3 bombers have performed a flight over international waters in the Black Sea, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.
"Two Tu-22M3 long-range bombers performed a scheduled flight in the airspace over international waters in the Black Sea," the ministry said.
It added that the planes covered about 4,500 kilometers spending more than five hours in the air.
The Defense Ministry noted that Russia’s long-range aviation regularly performed flights over international waters in the Arctic, North Atlantic, the Black and Caspian Seas and the Pacific Ocean. All flights are performed in strict compliance with international rules for the use of airspace.
