Russian Navy to get two nuclear subs, one diesel sub by year-end

Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu recalled that 11 ships will undergo repairs at shipyards

MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. The Russian Navy this year will get two nuclear submarines and a diesel one by the end of this year, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said during a distance conference on Tuesday.

The surface fleet will be complemented by the frigate The Admiral Kasatonov, corvette The Gremyashchy, amphibious assault ship The Pyotr Morgunov, small missile ships The Merkuri and The Ingushetia, patrol ship The Dmitry Rogachyov, five combat boats, minesweeper The Vladimir Yemelyanov and twenty logistic ships.

Eleven ships will undergo repairs at shipyards.
