Russia’s Security Council chief arrives in Abu Dhabi for security cooperation talks
ABU DHABI, January 31. /TASS/. Russia’s Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev has arrived in Abu Dhabi to discuss with his colleagues cooperation in security area between Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Russian Security Council’s press service, on Thursday Patrushev is due to hold talks "dedicated to cooperation between Russia and the UAE in the framework of the two countries’ security councils."
Prior to the visit, Patrushev held consultations in Cairo. He discussed with his Egyptian colleagues security of charter flights to the country’s resorts, the war on terror and extremism, "color revolutions," regulating the NGOs’ activity and a range of other issues.
Patrushev also had a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
