Fighter jets destroy command post and equipment of 'militants' in Far Eastern drills
Several dozens of Su-25SM fighter jets and Mi-8AMTSh and Ka-52 helicopters took part in the military exercise
VLADIVOSTOK, November 8. /TASS/. Several dozens of Su-25SM fighter jets and Mi-8AMTSh and Ka-52 helicopters have destroyed the equipment of 'militants' at military drills in the Russian Far Eastern Primorsky Region.
"During the practical stage of military drills, pilots of Grach Su-25SM fighter jets used unguided aircraft missiles and struck targets representing a command post, vehicle fleet, ammunition depots of 'terrorists'. Moreover, Mi-8ATMSh and Ka-52 helicopters 'cleared' the territory," the head of the Russian Eastern Military District's press service Alexander Gordeyev told reporters.
The press service confirmed to TASS that several dozens of crews were involved in the drills.
Pilots also shot at targets representing personnel and lightly armored vehicles of 'militants'.
