Contract to supply S-400s to India may be signed by end 2018

MOSCOW, August 22. /TASS/. The main aspects of the contract to supply the S-400 long-range anti-aircraft missile system have been determined, and the contract is expected to be signed by the end of 2018, said head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugayev in an interview with the Rossiya 24 television channel on Wednesday.
"We are fully ready to sign this contract. Its foundation was laid, and almost all aspects were coordinated. We plan to sign this contract before the end of this year," Shugayev said.
He added that the deliveries of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems and Su-35 fighters to China are proceeding on schedule. "We’ve got military-technical cooperation with China gradually developing based on strategic partnership. The Su-35 and S-400 deliveries - everything is being carried out on schedule," Shugayev noted.
