MOSCOW, July 5. /TASS/. Russia’s Strategic Missile Force will be fully rearmed with new military hardware by 2030, including its rearmament with the most advanced missile systems in 2027-2028, Force Commander Colonel-General Sergei Karakayev said on Thursday.
"The Strategic Missile Force will be rearmed with new weapon systems and military hardware before 2027 and, with regard to some items, before 2030. The rearmament for combat missile systems will be completed at the turn of 2027-2028," the commander said at an assembly on the training grounds.
The Missile Forces constantly get the latest weapon systems and military hardware under the state program of rearmament and defense procurement, including logistic support, the commander said.
Some elements of new combat missile systems are on display as part of the assembly of the Strategic Missile Force running on the training grounds of the Teikovo missile formation.
