Russian defense contractor to demonstrate advanced air defense systems at Turkey airshow
The exhibits, among all, will comprise the models of the S-400 Triumf air defense missile system
MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. Russia’s Almaz-Antey defense manufacturer will demonstrate the models of its advanced S-400 Triumf, Buk-M2E and Tor air defense missile systems at the Eurasia Airshow-2018 international exhibition that will be held in Antalya (Turkey) on April 25-29, the company’s press office said on Monday.
"The company will provide information on its integrated exhibition site about its military products essential for the Eurasian region. The exhibits will comprise the models of the S-400 Triumf air defense missile system, the Buk-M2E surface-to-air missile complex, combat vehicles of the Tor-M2E and Tor-M2KM antiaircraft missile systems and the 9A331MK-1 stationary autonomous combat module from the Tor-M2KM complex," the press office reported.
Video clips and video placards will inform the stand’s viewers about the S-400 Triumf and S-300VM Antey-2500 long-range air defense missile systems, Buk-M2E, Tor-M2E, Tor-M2K and Tor-M2KM medium-and short-range surface-to-air missile complexes and the company’s potential for the upgrade and repairs of military hardware, the press office said.
Almaz-Antey, which has positive experience in cooperation with the Turkish side will demonstrate an optimized exposition at the exhibition, considering its research priorities and regional requirements," Almaz-Antey Deputy CEO for Foreign Economic Activity Vyacheslav Dzirkaln said.
During meetings and negotiations at the exhibition, the company will discuss the issues of certification, maintenance, repairs, modernization and disposal of air defense means, training of the customer’s specialists, the Almaz-Antey press office said.
Almaz-Antey has the right to carry out foreign economic activity with regard to the provision of after-sale maintenance services for supplied military hardware, the extension of the service life, repairs, modernization and disposal, and also with regard to foreign specialists’ training in carrying out such work, the press office said.
