Water level near Komsomolsk-on-Amur rises by 13 cm -- RME

The level of water in the Amur is expected to reach maximum marks in the cities of Khabarovsk

MOSCOW, September 6 (Itar-Tass) - Water level in the Amur River near Khabarovsk has gone down by 3 cm to the 798 cm mark over the past 24 hours and rose by 13 cm to 858 cm near Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (RME) center for Khabarovsk Territory reported on Friday.

The level of water in the Amur is expected to reach maximum marks in the cities of Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Nikolayevsk-on-Amur, and in Nikolayevsk, Khabarovsk, Nanai, Amursk, Komsomolsk, and Ulchi districts, an RME official pointed out.
