The foreign partners got a 33.3-percent stakes in Rosneft’s projects on the shelf
ST. PETERSBURG, June 21 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s oil giant Rosneft has signed an agreement on joint shelf development with Italy’s ENI and Norway’s Statoil. The relevant document was signed in the format of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday.
The foreign partners got a 33.3-percent stakes in Rosneft’s projects on the shelf and guarantee financing of geological surveys at those fields.
In addition, the companies inked a Declaration on environmentally friendly development of the Arctic shelf zone.
