KRASNOYARSK, June 20 (Itar-Tass) - Defense Minister General Sergei Shoigu arrived in Krasnoyarsk on Thursday. Spokeswoman for the Krasnoyarsk regional governor Svetlana Alekseyeva has confirmed the minister's visit.

"The defense minister's visit, which will continue for two days, has a close character because the minister is planning to visit secure facilities," the spokeswoman said.

Unofficial sources said hat Sergei Shoigu would visit a missile division in Uzhursk and discuss problems of the construction of new defense facilities in the Krasnoyarsk region.
