Minister's deputy Igor Remorenko also denied his possible designation

MOSCOW, June 18 (Itar-Tass) - Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov denied the rumors alleging upcoming reshuffle at the ministry and the resignation of his deputy Igor Remorenko.

"Remorenko's possible resignation is just a rumor fanned by the mass media," Livanov said in an interview to Itar-Tass on Tuesday. He also noted he was pleased with his subordinates' performance.

Remorenko, too, denied these speculations on Twitter. "I have not tendered my resignation, nor do I plan to take a course at the Institute for Advanced Training," he wrote on Tuesday.

However, he noted he intended to "take a pause in civil service," which he believes would be useful "for civil service, in the first place."

Igor Remorenko has been deputy minister of education and science since June 2012.
