SINGAPORE, June 1 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov met his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Chi Vinh on Saturday on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue conference on security in Asia to discuss cooperation between both countries in light of preparations for a visit to Russia by the Vietnamese defence minister scheduled for August.

Antonov and Nguyen Chi Vinh discussed military and military-technical cooperation and agreed to hold the first round of consultations on regional and international security at the level of deputies defence minister in Moscow in October.
