MOSCOW, March 19 (Itar-Tass) – The Russian Foreign Ministry has demanded the United States should present without any delay all documents concerning the death of Russian adopted boy Maxim Kuzmin, the Foreign Ministry’s commissioner for human rights, democracy and the rule of law, Konstantin Dolgov, said on Tuesday.

He said the Texas authorities’ decision not to bring any charges against the Shatto couple over the tragic death of Maxim Kuzmin “arouses major questions.”

“The boy is dead, but his adoptive parents are presented as innocent,” Dolgov said. “Moreover, we are being persuaded that the injuries incompatible with death were self-inflicted.”

“In that connection we confirm our demand the Russian side should get without any further delay all related documents concerning the death of Maxim Kuzmin, including the results of forensic examination,” Dolgov said.
