KIEV, February 12 (Itar-Tass) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich has presented condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin over a methane explosion at the Vorkutinskaya mine in the Komi Republic that claimed the lives of 18 miners, the Ukrainian president’s press service said on Monday.  

He conveyed genuine condolences to the families and relatives of the dead and wished the earliest recovery to the injured miners.
