The former prosecutor is charged of a group’s accepting bribes of over 33 million roubles
MOSCOW, February 8 (Itar-Tass) – The prosecution is against keeping behind the bars the Moscow region’s former prosecutor, Alexander Ignatenko, who had been extradited from Poland to Russia in the ‘gambling case.’
The application was voiced by the prosecutor, who addressed the Moscow City Court, which was considering extension of Ignatenko’s detention.
The former prosecutor is charged of a group’s accepting bribes of over 33 million roubles (Article 290, paragraph 4 of the Russian Federation’s Criminal Code).
