Earthquake hits Russia’s southern Krasnodar rgn, no casualties reported

MOSCOW, December 10 (Itar-Tass) —— An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 hit Russia’s southern Krasnodar Territory on Monday, December 10. No casualties or damage were reported.

The earthquake centred at a depth of 10 kilometres in the Black Sea 34 kilometres northwest of Novorossiisk, the Emergencies Ministry told Itar-Tass.

“Tremors were felt in Anapa, Krymsk, Novorossiisk and Gelendzhik. According to preliminary reports, there were no damage or casualties. The population is not in danger,” the ministry said.
