MOSCOW, November 16 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s President Vladimir Putin hopes for abolishment of the visa requirement between the Russian Federation and the European Union.

“Visas limit our relations /with Germany/,” he said on Friday during the Petersburg Dialogue Forum. “In the dialogue with the European Union we hope for assistance from Germany, I believe we shall settle this problem.”
