Specialists decide to correct ISS orbit to avoid collision with space debris

Having calculated the trajectory of debris from the American satellite Iridium-33, ballistic specialists made the decision to correct the ISS orbit

MOSCOW, October 31 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian ballistic specialists have decided to correct the orbit of the International Space Station (ISS) to avoid a collision with space debris from the U.S. satellite Iridium-33.

“Having calculated the trajectory of debris from the American satellite Iridium-33, ballistic specialists made the decision to correct the IS orbit,” the Mission Control Centre said on Wednesday, October 31.
