MOSCOW, September 19 (Itar-Tass) — The wages and salaries of Federal budget-supported workers in Russia will be raised by six percent, effective from October 1. An appropriate resolution issued by the government is pulished in Rossiiskaya Gazeta on Wednesday.

The pay hike will apply to the workes of Federal, public, budget-supported, and autonomous institutions, Federal state bodies. Salaries will also increase for the civilian personnel of military units, institutions and subdivisions of Federal executive power bodies, in which the law prescribes military and equated-to-it service, the staff of state academies of sciences and institutions under their jurisdiction. They did not have other pay hikes this year.
