BARNAUL, August 29 (Itar-Tass) — Dense fog has prevented several airliners from landing at Barnaul airport on Wednesday. They all have been diverted to reserve airfields, the airport's reference service reported.

An inbound airliner from St Petersburg, in particular. has been sent to Kemerovo. An airliner from Moscow's Vnukovo had to fly to Novokuznetsk. Yet another airliner from Moscow's Domodedovo to Barnaul also landed in Novokuznetsk. Omsk airport is to receive an airliner from Domodedovo. An airliners from Moscow's Sheremetyevo is land in Krasnoyarsk.
