TOKYO, August 17 (Itar-Tass) — A 4.9 magnitude quake rocked southwestern Japan on Friday.
The Japan Meteorological Service issued a tsunami warning, but in several minutes cancelled it.
There have no reports about victims or destructions.
The quake’s epicenter was located close to Kumamoto Prefecture (Kyushu Island). Residents of Japan’s seven prefectures felt earth tremors.
