No talks on loan with Cyprus, deputy finance minister says

“We’re waiting for additional information from Cyprus and a schedule for its needs,” the deputy minister explained
SOCHI, July 27 (Itar-Tass) — Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak said Russia did not hold talks with Cyprus to provide a loan to it.
“We’ve held consultations, but the talks have not been conducted yet,” Storchak said on Friday.
“We’re waiting for additional information from Cyprus and a schedule for its needs,” the deputy minister explained. “It is necessary to assess the debt stability and prospects for its dynamics,” Storchak stressed.
