MOSCOW, July 2 (Itar-Tass) — U.N./LAS Special Envoy Kofi Annan will make a visit to Russia in the middle of July, a diplomat said on Monday.

“An invitation has been sent to Kofi Annan. I believe that Annan will visit Russia in the middle of this month,” the diplomat said.

At the same time, he made it clear thatthe special envoy would meet with the Russian leadership.
